I was sent on a mission to an awkward part of town recently and I chose to walk in instead of taking a few misses of transport... My journey brought me past Merrion Square where the particular mix of Georgian architecture, quiet nature and a sterling sunset were enough to make my evening...
I took this shot straight into the setting sun with a very low aperture and a relatively high shutter speed. The bird on the top right corner and the man mid stride in the middle of the frame make this for me. The sense of perspective from the buildings on the left and the light shining through the trees on the right make this come alive.
